At A Bark Above Dogventures we treat our four-legged clients as our own.
We offer safe transportation options and offer long leads and GPS collars for dogs still working on their recall.
We always carry plenty of water, a first-aid kit, and extra leashes on our Dogventures.

Two huge passions of mine are the natural world and dogs. I love nothing more than taking dogs out on the trails and seeing them light up! At A Bark Above Dogventures my aim is to allow average household dogs experience the outdoors by giving them the ability to run, play, learn, and use their instincts, while letting out all of their excess energy!
I have 15+ years of experience with dogs (puppies, elderly, working dogs, and special needs) from volunteering to various types of training to dog sitting. My own two dogs are a German shepherd and cattle dog mix. They are full of energy and require time outdoors and mental stimulation for their mental and physical well-being. What I've realized is that when they are well exercised and their minds get to work, they are happier, better behaved, and adjust better to life at home. I want all dogs to experience the freedom and adventure of being on the trails and have their owners, regardless of busy schedules, get to see what well-behaved dogs they can have!

Hi! My name is Emily. I grew up just outside Worcester and I grew with and have always loved dogs. I currently have two! One of them is a pitbull/lab mix named Kona and the other is your classic Heinz 57 mutt. She's a 45 pound bundle of adorableness named Maggie. I love working with the dogs and being out in nature on hikes with them! It's very rewarding to be able to do something for them that they love and gives them some good physical and intellectual exercise.

3% of our profits are donated to the Scituate Animal Shelter
Piper, a recent foster who became an addition to our family.
Why we give to the Scituate Animal Shelter:
Piper came to me with severe emotional & physical trauma due to her past living situation. She is what the shelter deemed a "project dog." Through the diligence of the shelter, I was able to adopt her and provide her with a full life. Our donations continuously help other shelter dogs live full & happy lives as well!
